From Groningen to Copenhagen, Roskilde
On Monday, October 23, 2006, Charlotte and René made a trip to Copenhagen. Originally we planned for a six day trip that included a visit to Legoland near Billund, but the weather was too discouraging. The first leg took us from Groningen to Copenhagen. A firm tail wind shortened the journey to two hours.

Round trip from Roskilde to Kalundborg
The next day, Tuesday October 24, 2006, we cancelled our planned flight to Sweden because of the weather conditions in the east. We made a short side trip to Kalundborg (in the west) instead.

From Roskilde to Malmo
Because of a bad weather forecast for Thursday for Denmark and Sweden, we decided to return to Groningen on Wednesday, October 25, 2006. In the morning we first flew to Malmo, passing Copenhagen's Kastrup airport on the way. After passing Kastrup, we flew along the Oresund bridge between Denmark and Sweden.

From Malmo to Sonderborg
After Malmo we flew to Sonderborg. We were encountering a head wind, but fortunately not as strong as the tail wind we had on Monday. We crossed the Great Belt a few miles south of the spectacular Storebaelt bridge.
