From Paderborn to Obermehler

When we were on a little trip to the Sauerland in 2009, we drove by Paderborn-Lippstadt airport to see if we could rent a plane there. A very nice chap, Dietmar Gieffers, arranged that we could rent one of the Piper Archer's from the local Aeroclub. In 2011 René became a member of the flying club, and we have used the planes many time since. Dietmar was the soul and enthusiastic inspirer of the club. Regrettably, Dietmar passed away in 2014. It was a huge loss for the flying club.
