From Paderborn-Lippstadt to Frankfurt-Egelsbach
On Wednesday 27 February 2019, I flew to Frankfurt-Egelsbach for a business trip. The plan was to fly to Hilversum on Friday, and then also do some flying in the weekend. The weather had been very good the week before, and at first the weather outlook for the days to come remained good, but it changed when the weekend neared.

Travelling from Frankfurt-Egelsbach airport to Frankfurt
From the airport, it is 1.4 km on foot (17 minutes' walk) to the S-Bahn station Egelsbach on line S3. Tickets can be purchased from a kiosk or a ticket machine at the station. A one way ticket to Frankfurt is €4.95 (2019).
On Friday the 1st of March Ramon and I would fly to Hilversum, but because the low mountain ranges to the north were in clouds we could not fly. We made a local flight around Frankfurt, and then we took the train back to Holland. I would pick-up the plane at a later date when the weather would allow.
From Frankfurt-Egelsbach to Paderborn-Lippstadt
The next Friday I returned to Frankfurt by train to fly back the plane back to Paderborn-Lippstadt. The weather was good, and the flight uneventful. I passed Marburg that we had visited last summer (trip report). South of Paderborn-Lippstadt there was some light rain. I landed on runway 24 and finished the trip.
